Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies only to the things SeeMyHotels itself charges for directly — contributor Tier Passes and property add-on modules, both billed through our payment provider (PayHere) and listed on our Pricing page. As explained in our Terms & Conditions, SeeMyHotels never processes an accommodation payment on behalf of any property — any booking you make is paid directly to that property, and this policy has nothing to do with it. If you have a question about a stay, contact the property directly.
2. Credit top-ups are non-refundable
Topping up your SeeMyHotels credit balance is non-refundable, in full or in part, once the payment is complete. A top-up simply moves money into your own credit balance — nothing has been bought yet at that point, so there is nothing to refund. Your credit balance stays available to spend on a Tier Pass or an add-on module at any time.
3. What can be refunded, and how
A Tier Pass or add-on module purchase can be refunded if you request it within 14 days of the purchase. Approved refunds are issued as SeeMyHotels account credit, valid for 12 months from the date it's issued, which you can spend on any future Tier Pass or add-on purchase.
We don't currently refund a purchase back to your original card or bank account — every approved refund is issued as account credit. If that changes in the future, this page will say so.
Requesting a refund revokes the purchase immediately — a refunded Tier Pass or add-on module stops working as soon as the refund is approved, so you can't keep using what's been refunded.
4. How long it takes
We review refund requests within 3–5 business days. If approved, the account credit is added to your balance immediately — there's no further waiting period, since issuing credit doesn't involve our payment provider at all.
5. Cancelling a subscription
An add-on module can be billed monthly or annually, your choice at purchase. Monthly subscriptions: cancelling stops the next charge — you keep access through the end of the month you've already paid for.
Annual subscriptions are paid upfront for the full 12 months. Cancelling stops the subscription from renewing for another year, but we don't refund or credit the unused part of a year you've already paid for — you keep access through the end of the 12 months you paid for, same as cancelling a monthly plan keeps you through the month you paid for. This is the same way most annual subscriptions work, and it's why an annual plan costs less than paying monthly all year: the lower price assumes you're committing to the full term, not an early exit with money back.
6. Fair use
We review refund requests individually and may decline a request, or limit how many refunds an account can receive, where we reasonably believe the account is being used to repeatedly purchase and refund rather than to genuinely try the service.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you already made under the version in effect at the time.
8. Requesting a refund
Reach out via the contact page with your account email and what you'd like refunded or cancelled, and we'll take it from there.
